As a test run, I made a small coin purse on my sewing machine using a Teflon foot. The leather is very stretchy! Before I make a bag, I will certainly need to interface the leather. The color is more a blue gray, than slate blue. Nice soft feel to the leather.
Love the feel of this leather. I just received it and haven’t sewn it yet. A little disappointed that it isn’t close to the color shown. What I received is much darker blue (closer to a navy color) than represented. But, I’m sure it will work up beautifully when sewn. I would say if you are looking for a “slate blue” color, this probably isn’t it.
The color is absolutely stunning and the feel is super supple. I can’t to use it. I loved it so much, I made a second order. And the shipping was lightning fast!! Thanks again.
